Growing up in Blackpool I never found a real home creatively, and I found this to be a growing problem amongst other northerner musicians, filmmakers and artists. In an attempt to combat this, me and some friends from university, started Homunculus Label. A pro-bono label and events organisation team that aims to create, curate and promote diverse self-sufficient creative scenes and the people behind them, whilst being self aware and humorous along the way. We have worked with Yes Manchester, AD England (Impiety Hour) and Manchester Metropolitan University, as well as booking The Guardian's One to Watch otta and Fader featured MAY. This project is still in its infancy but we are working on much more to come.
